When we were born, we inherited a name, characteristics, behaviour traits,
looks from the gene pool of our heritage and the bloodline of our parents.
Then we were brought up and trained, nourished by our father who provided for
us as long as the family unit remained intact.
Our father usually brought leadership and direction to the family unit.
Our outcome and development is very important and the input we receive from
our parents help to shape our future.
When we get older and reach a certain maturity, we then become independent
and make our own choices and form our own belief system to determine our steps.
Some of our knowledge that we gain from our experience and up bringing comes from those
older and close to us.
The family unit is an essential foundation for our society
to be healthy and
have stability.
In recent times the family unit has suffered stress and has been fragmented
by divorce, strife, contentions and even homosexual infiltration into this sacred
unit.
A breakdown of society and morals has led to degeneration and in some cases,
a destruction of the safe haven of a healthy family unit.
If the responsibility of up bringing and shaping of the character of children
in their fragile and easily influenced state, is handed over to the Government, or an
Institution, this could lead to an abuse of the control and influence over our
childrens’ outcome and character.
In a brave new world scenario, we have children programmed and fashioned by an
elite group, who are a government in total control over people, with this power they can manipulate a persons freedom of
destiny.
This possibility is frightening, as mind control is a threat to the proper
development of mankind.
Malachi the prophet declared in the last days we would see the heart of the
fathers turned back to the children and a restoration of the family, to a healthy
and nurturing place for children.
When God sent His Son to this world, He was establishing a completely new
relationship between God and Man. Jesus and His character and His relationship with
God His Father is a pattern for mankind to follow.
John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
full of grace and truth."
Here we see that the Word became flesh and His Glory or (attributes) were
begotten of the Father, in other words God was His Father and that is where His traits came from
and He was full of grace and Truth.
In John 1:12,13 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,
to those who believe in His name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God."
Jesus came to as many as received Him to give them the right
to become children of God.
When we are born again and saved from our sinful condition, we now become
sons and daughters of God, taking on the attributes of His character, being love,peace,joy and
righteousness.
We find in the new birth, that we are not born of blood, determined by
inheritance, cultural boundaries, generational attributes, predetermined faults,
vices, habits and character traits of our bloodline.
Nor, are we born of the will of flesh, through mans engineering of birth,
D.N.A experiments, a development of a master Arian race, a brave new world baby
or even of a passionate sexual encounter between man and woman outside of the
marriage setting, or worse a result of rape.
Neither, are we born by the will of man, which is the established way of man
and wife to reproduce offspring.
In the miraculous rebirth we are born of God, we are born again, our spirit is
made alive, when God places His life inside us, through Jesus and what He did, by
taking our sin and death upon Himself on the cross.
We are now enabled, to
receive the new birth, we become a new creation and the sinful nature is dealt
with, by the death of Jesus.
We now have a Heavenly Father.
When we read John14:10-11 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?
The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves."
Jesus informs the disciples that He is one with the
Father, so the works He does are the works of the Father. This means that Jesus
is a representation of the Father Gods’ attributes.
Hebrews1:3 "Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person,
and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins,
sat down at the right hand
of the Majesty on high."
Jesus is the express image of His person,
that is, the Fathers person, as you can see, Jesus took on God’s
characteristics in fullness
as a true Son of God.
Now God has made it possible, for all of mankind to partake of His attributes
of righteousness and His purpose is that, none would perish as a result of sin
and He has restored this privilege, to be in a relationship with Him, as sons and
daughters of God through Jesus.
1John3:1 "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!
Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him."
What manner of love that the Father has bestowed on us who
choose to be born again, that we should be called children of God.
We see the heart of the Father, our Father and God, He wants to restore
mankind back as His children by this miracle of being born again. So we become new in
our spirit man, made in the image of God, changed into His likeness and having
His righteousness.
What God wants to bring to mankind is a shift from a state of being lost and
seperated from their creator by sin, to being accepted back as His children by
the new birth.
It is interesting to note that the world does not recognise this, because it did not know Him or accept Him.
That is why we need to accept the love of the Father and be changed, by becoming born again and realise that we are not the same anymore,
the world will not recognise the change, because it does not know what it is to have the miracle of the new birth and have God as their Father.
Romans8:14-16 "For as many as are led by the spirit of God, these are the sons of God.
For you did not receive a spirit again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry out "Abba, Father."
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God."
Our new position in Christ is explained this way, just as Jesus was One with the Father and only did the works of His Father, who is God,
we can be led by God now, through the new birth.
People who are in the worlds system and remain seperate to God however, will not recognise the power of the new birth and will only know a fear,
which was planted inside them from birth and is a fear of death and seperation from God and the punishment that this will bring.
They will remain living with that spirit
which produces works, that are not righteous and can even lead to atrocities in the extreme.
This is evident by the worlds news and human history will tell the sorry tale of
destruction and death and misery that the human race is subjected to by this manner of spirit.
Father God extends His hand to all of mankind and says "here take the gift of the new birth through Jesus my Son, who has taken the sin of the world and I will give to you a new spirit.
You will have a spirit that cries Abba Father and then your relationship with Me will be real and fullfilling. The emptiness and the great hole in your heart will be filled with my love and a new identity to radically change your life beyond your wildest dreams"
God's Holy Spirit will witness to our spirits, that we are sons and daughters of God and will lead us into the truth of what this means.
He will guide us into an understanding of what we can have, because of what is now at work in us, as children of God.
God wants us to accept His way out from sin and much more than that, to take on
His characteristics of righteousness and then be found, in God’s family having
the new identity of sons and daughters of God.
Identity is important, our background and how we are raised up and influenced by
those who are entrusted with our up bringing, is critical for our development, into
mature and complete adults.
God the Father, our God, wants this privelage, of nurturing us, in His great love for us, His
creation, given to us through Jesus, who He sent for the very purpose of
making the way back to God
and to bring us into His family.
He wants you and I, to have a secure identity as the very children of God in
Jesus Christ,
then God will be OUR FATHER.
